What is the strangest job that you’ve ever had?
I was once a personal assistant. I did the typical tasks of running errands, walking dogs, getting coffee, etc. The most interesting part of the gig was taking inventory of their closet and selling items on eBay.

If you could switch jobs with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

I would love to work at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. It's an elephant orphanage. I'd like to work as a keeper, they work directly with taking care of the baby elephants. I visited the SWT in Nairobi back in 2011 with Mr. Bernier and I've been dreaming of returning ever since! I sponsor one of the baby elephants and encourage anyone who can to do the same!

If you had some free time, how would you spend it? Traveling! I love to travel. This summer I'll be going to Disney World, Portugal, The Netherlands, and England. It's my goal to go to every continent.

What does a typical day at MAMS look like for you?

When I was a teacher here, I could have answered that a wee bit more easily. As the Instructional Coach, there is absolutely no typical day! Here are a few things I do regularly: meet with teachers one-on-one, meet with teams of teachers, work in classrooms, attend meetings with administrators, cover lunch duties, substitute, organize school-wide schedules and testing, and help out anyone who may need a hand.

What do you love about middle school?
I absolutely adore my coworkers. The staff at MAMS is unlike any that I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
