MAMS DEBATE CLUB!
Are you a 7th or 8th grader and find yourself involved in heated discussions? Do you enjoy being right, or just have many opinions that you would like to share with the world? Join the MAMS Debate Club: a place where we will learn the fundamentals of debate, how to argue well in front of others, and useful strategies to convince others to seriously consider your point of view. First meeting will be on Thursday, March 9th in Ms. Ackley's room. If you are interested, please pick up a permission slip in the Main Office!
MAMS OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CLUB!
The MAMS Outdoor Adventure Club will meet Wednesday, March 8th after school. Come check out Mr. Dennis’s snowshoe track AND have fun playing snowshoe kickball, compete in relay races, and other fun snowshoe activities. Snowshoes will be provided. Students who wish to participate should wear appropriate winter clothing. To include hats, gloves, coat, and boots. Most snow boots should be compatible with the snowshoes. Students should meet in the cafeteria after the 2:20 bell.

This flyer will give you all of the information you need in order to choose your package and order online or through the school. The Civil Rights Team will meet on MONDAYS @ 3:20 (after other clubs) until the late bus at 4:30 starting on Dec 5th. Students not attending other clubs may go to room 2645 for supervision after the last bell. If you are interested in joining, please pick up a permission slip in the Main Office. If you are interested in the Civil Rights Team, but are not able to meet on Mondays, please email Ms. Lera, the CRT advisor, to let her know that you are interested.
FITNESS & WEIGHTLIFTING CLUB!
Open to 7th and 8th Grade Students, the MAMS Fitness and Weightlifting Club will meet on Tuesdays, beginning on December 6th, from 2:30pm to 4:05pm. Students will need to bring/wear clothing appropriate for exercise and working out, as well as a water bottle. The Pride Club offers a safe and welcoming environment to students of all sexual orientations and gender identities to hang out and support each other. The Pride Club will meet every other Thursday in Room 3830 with Ms. Calderwood. This is an open club so you can join at any time!
